I.T Manager Job Vacancy Kenya.

The purpose of the role is to provide leadership and direction in the provision and delivery of ICT services throughout the organization; to develop the service in alignment with local and international strategies while taking into account IT market developments. The job holder is also charged with IT projects delivery in business expansion.
Responsibilities
* Participate in the development and implementation of an IT plan/strategy for the establishment with input 
and participation from users.
* Manage resources planning including IT budgets preparation.
* Provide IT infrastructure services including Desktop applications, local and /or wide area networks, IT security and Telecommunication.
* Oversee all IT Projects within the Area and ensure full compliance to global standards and overall strategy.
* Responsible for IT Hardware, software and maintenance procurement.
* Work with senior management to propose, agree and deliver IT service to defined Service Level Agreements.
* Ensure appropriate training and development needs are met by working closely with various business units to ensure that the users have the skills required to execute their roles effectively.
* Liaise with system vendors for the development and implementation of new systems.
* Manage the IT department including performance of staff, disciplinary and career development.
* Develop and maintain a disaster recovery plan.
* Perform IT Standards reviews and audits.
* Keep abreast of Industry dynamics in order to ensure that IT equipment and processes are in line with industry best practice.
* To manage the relationship with all key stakeholders both internally and externally and maintain appropriate communications forums with them.
Requirements
* Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/Information Management.
* Experience in ICT Strategy planning and Implementation in an international establishment in the hospitality industry.
* At least 7 years professional experience in ICT including ideally 3 years senior management in the hospitality Industry.
* Project management skills including delivery of major projects e.g. setting up business expansion operations.
* Experience in IT System analysis, design, programming, installation and customization including integrated Software programmes.
* Excellent leadership and people management skills.
* Good corporate profile excellent customer and business development skill.
* Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Liaise with COTU, FKE and Ministry of Labour on all issues relating to Employment laws and Practice and take part in CBA negotiations.
* Support interface between the business, industry, government regulations and CBA staff relating to staff issues.
* Liaise with legal section and company lawyers on all legal issues relating to industrial relations.
* Drive industrial relations programs.
* Develop, implement and monitor policies and practices to improve the ability to manage diversity effectively.
* Benchmark and implement best industrial relations practices and implement accordingly.
Key Requirements:
* A degree in HR/ Business related degree and a Higher Diploma in Human Resources Management
* Minimum of 2-3 years General HR experience.
* Experience in labour laws and industrial management is a MUST.
* A seasoned practitioner with strong personal credibility gained through a track record of high integrity and ability to deliver.
* Team leader and team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

Requirements:
You will be a strategic thinker with proven sales and marketing experience, leadership ability, and track record of achieving targets. You will also have: 
* A business degree preferably a professional marketing qualification such as CIM; a masters degree will be an advantage
* 5 years experience in a marketing and or sales management role within a manufacturing environment preferably in FMCG; experience is the food manufacturing sector is a definite advantage
* Proven experience of long term planning and results delivery as well as staff management, training and performance management
* Distributor management experience is essential
* Experience in the East African region is preferred

1. SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS (Developer).
- Diploma/ Degree in web development/design or a related field.
